Sixteen Miss SC and Miss Teen SC contestants are still in the running in tonight's finale from Columbia.

Contestants compete in the areas of evening gown, swimsuit and interview. The winner takes a large scholarship prize and competes in the Miss America Pageant.

- Miss Capital City is Lara Scott* of Greenville. She attended Southside Christian School in Simpsonville;
