Despite spending the overwhelming majority of the game in Mann’s end of the field, Wando led only 1-0 midway through the second half. The goal came in the first five minutes from the foot of Rachel Torlay. But the Warriors persisted with their attack. They finally saw the fruits of their labor when senior Hannah Ross deftly slipped a shot past JL Mann’s goalie in the 61st minute to make it 2-0 and put the game out of reach. The relentless pressure from Wando easily could have amounted to more goals. A spectacular shot from Raymara Barreto a few minutes …

Even more disappointing was the conduct of several Wildcats refusing to shake hands at the end of the match. The Wildcats coach needs to change this team attitude.   more ›
