Do both K9's have protective vests? Vested Interested in K9s, Inc. provides K9s with them but Mt.Read More Pleasant would have to send them the certifications for both dogs. As far as I know it won't cost Mt. Pleasant.

Cops get a pass on plenty of laws... Speeding, using a firearm within town limits, blockingRead More traffic... I could go on and on. I sat in on the meetings where the law was pushed, and I can promise it's not a money-maker. Mount Pleasant is relatively flush with cash (compared to other municipalities) so there's no pressing need to get more revenue from tickets. In the meetings I attended, actually, they never discussed how they'd use the revenue. I'm neither proponent or opposed to the new law. But I don't think the motivation is financial.

The law needed to be put in place. But I am at a loss of why it is not a state wide band. I also doRead More not think they need to look at your device to determine anything. That is a invasion of privacy. Write the ticket but your not touching my device without a warrant!

If you won't wear a seatbelt for your own self-preservation, wear it for the people who care aboutRead More you & need you here. There is no justifiable excuse for not wearing one, especially the "I won't just because the law says I have to" selfish jerk statement. Then don't, & take your ignorance out of the gene pool.

We're sympathetic to your loss, but the link to Ms. Donohue's Facebook page was simply to showRead More people the type of aircraft involved in the accident. To Facebook user's who are not friends with Ms. Donohue, the photo and very basic information is all that is visible. We are interested in writing more about Ms. Donohue and Mr. Smith, and would welcome an opportunity to speak with their friends and family about them, so that we could put a more personal face on this accident.
