Statement from U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham: “South Carolina has lost one of her finest with theRead More passing of Peatsy Hollings. She was an incredible person and exhibited class and grace throughout her long and successful life. From her service as an educator to her tireless advocacy for those in need, Mrs. Hollings was a great role model. My thoughts and prayers go out to Senator Hollings and their entire family. She will be sorely missed.”

Big Turd wants to fund his tax cut on the back of Big Bird. Mitt and Ann refuse to show their taxRead More returns for 2005-2009, since their accountants said they paid about 14%, the only reason to hide those returns is the IRS amnesty for rich tax cheats with secret Swiss accounts. After the UBS whistle blower case the IRS let rich tax cheats "pay the fine" instead of trial for the felony they committed. Maybe they should be in the big house rather than the White House.

Only "students" being taught by overwhelmingly Democrat teachers would think that RomneyRead More didn't win that debate. Obama promising freebies to special interest groups for votes while the country is bankrupt is no way to win an election.

I wish I knew who "Stanley" was. I want to tell him his shorts are on a bit too tight.Read More They have pushed his brains into his yada yada. His comments on just about everything also reveal a nose that is the same color as our fearless leader's yada yada.

It is very sad to hear that another family is left without the father and husband. We must be proudRead More of his willingness to serve our country while also helping to stabilize that area of the world. Hopefully all of our soldiers will be back home soon and the need for this kind of sacrifice will be closer to no longer being necessary.

Our June 26th show will be dedicated to Ryan. I lost to many fellow officers as a cop and I pray aRead More day would come when we no longer lose our brothers in law and our valorous members of the military. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/southern-sense/2012/06/26/defending-the-republic

Most of these disqualified candidates did exactly what the State Election Commission told them toRead More do. Filing their disclosure online and putting the number, which functioned as a proof of filing on their other forms. This meant their form and information were instantly available to the public. The only way to obtain the "form" required was to fill it out online and then print out a copy to file with the other paperwork. Candidates were told that was unnecessary and inappropriate because the forms were no longer filed on paper. The lesson here is that the people in power in South Carolina cannot be trusted in even the most basic aspects of the election process and thousands of Charleston County residents no longer have any meaningful options when they go to the polls. Incumbents always tend to get reelected. Now they don't even have to be bothered to campaign. Utterly rotten.
