Towne Centre Plans Fashion Summer Camp

Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre has announced the fourth annual Fashion Camp, a day camp, being offered select weekdays from June 10 through July 12 to young fashionistas. The campers will visit different stores throughout the camp to learn aspects of fashion and expressing themselves, including Belk, Claire’s, Francesca’s Collections, Old Navy, Versona Accessories & Ulta, as well as center restaurants Longhorn, P.F. Chang’s and Burtons Grill.

During Fashion Camp, girls 6-14 will discover their own distinctive sense of style, accessories and beauty, inside and out. Campers will also learn about self-esteem, healthy habits and organization. The camp will be hosted by two local teachers with a passion for fashion. Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre’s camp hosts will provide their expertise on fashion, style, accessories and more during the summer Fashion Camp.

Fashion Camp days will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Multiple dates are available for different age groups.  All workshops are one day and include lunch, a $25 gift card to Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre, a swag bag with an exclusive gift and an official graduation certificate. The total cost of camp is $65.

Activities for each camp agenda vary for different days and age groups, from mini-makeovers at Ulta, a Fashion Glossary workshop in Versona Accessories to the importance of RSVP’s, hostess gifts and Thank You cards in Chucktown Chicks with simple etiquette during lunch and throughout the day.
