Clemson Packs Yorktown Thursday

Dabo Swinney to appear at annual 'Prowl and Growl' event.

On Thursday the USS Yorktown will be enveloped in a sea of orange and purple when the Clemson “Prowl and Growl” Coaches Tour returns to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum for the second year in a row.

Hosted by the Charleston County Clemson Club, the event will feature appearances by Clemson University Head Football Coach Dabo Swinney and Head Men’s Basketball Coach Brad Brownell.  It is one of 14 stops spanning four states running from mid-April through the end of May for Clemson University’s athletics staff to meet and greet fans.

“We’re proud to host the Prowl and Growl once again aboard the USS Yorktown,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Mac Burdette. “This popular event will bring together Clemson staff, alumni and fans for a great evening in one of Charleston’s most unique event venues.”
