Veteran Says Thanks to Moultrie Kids

U.S. Army major returns from Afghanistan and says thanks for care packages.

A soldier who received care packages from Moultrie Middle School students while deployed to Afghanistan, visited the students on Memorial Day to say thanks.

Army Major Bryan Brooks was one recipient of several care packages sent by Mark Nadobny’s seventh-grade world history students.

Students organized care packages that contained letters, pictures, snacks and toiletries as a token of their gratitude for his military service. An American Flag sent by the students was actually flown in Kabul, Afghanistan.
