School System Releases Revised Rezoning Maps

New maps offer clearer view of proposed rezoning changes.

Charleston County School District has released revised maps that offer a clear view to parents how it plans to rezone students to ease overcrowding in Fall of 2015.

The new maps allow parents the ability to more closely zoom in to see how the revised districts impact specific addresses. See the Mount Pleasant school rezoning maps.

The school system has also released a multi-page guide to reading and understanding the Charleston County school rezoning maps.

The District 2 Constituent Board will meet in August and hold a public hearing 6 p.m. Sept. 11 at Wando High School to discuss the changes.
