Reports: SLED Joins ReVille Case

State law enforcement, the U.S. Department of Education take up Citadel sex-abuse allegations.

The South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division confirmed to the Post and Courier on Friday that it has joined the investigation into sex-abuse allegations against Louis "Skip" ReVille.

The State Law Enforcement Division confirmed that it has joined the investigation into The Citadel scandal at the request of Charleston police. The agency will look into a teen's 2007 allegations that ReVille lured young campers into his room to watch porn and masturbate while serving as the camp's senior counselor. Read the full story.

The paper also reports that the U.S. Department of Education is looking into allegations that the Citadel sat on reports of sexual impropriety stemming from a 2007 report in which ReVille, then a student and summer camp counselor, was accused of holding masturbation sessions in his dorm room with teenage boys.
