Police Seek Information on Person Linked to Missing Teen

Police say individual is helping missing girl.

Mount Pleasant Police are asking for the public's help identifying an individual they believe is assisting a teenager missing since July 7.

Autumn Marie Ellison, 17, ran away from her Landing Run home on July 7, police said. Since then, surveillance photos have shown Ellison and an unidentified individual in a black Lincoln Navigator SUV.

Police want to know the identity of the person who is allegedly helping the young woman.

"Ellison is receiving assistance from a person(s) who is contributing to her delinquency in violation of South Carolina law," said Maj. Stan Gragg, police spokesman.

Ellison is still believed to be in the Lowcountry. She is 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 101 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on the identity of the person in the photos or the whereabouts of Autumn Marie Ellison is asked to please contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department at (843) 884-4176.
