Foul play is suspected in the death of an individual in Mount Pleasant. A Charleston County Sheriff's detective discovered human remains Monday evening near a power substation off McGrath Darby Blvd.
The deputy was searching the area as a part of an ongoing investigation, but officials declined to comment further. Read more at Counton2.com.

On Monday October 7, 2013 at approximately 8:30 p.m. Charleston County Sheriff’s detectives located a body near a power substation off of McGrath Darby Boulevard Mount Pleasant.
Investigation into the discovery is ongoing and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office is working with investigators to identify the deceased.
