Credit Card Fraud Suspects Sought

Police say men used stolen credit cards at local stores.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is searching for suspects involved in multipe auto break-ins and credit card frauds allegedly committed at stores in Mount Pleasant and North Charleston.

Police say the suspects used a stolen credit card to purchase a computer and other electronics at the Walmart at Proprietors Place in Mount Pleasant on Oct. 2.

The card had been stolen earlier from Sea Palms Crescent portion of the Marais Subdivision.

Video surveillance of the 5:56 a.m. purchase shows two men in their 20s make the purchase and then leave in a 1980s or 90s model GMC Jimmy SUV.

Additionally, there is a sticker on the left side of the rear glass. Police also allege an unauthorized use of the credit card at a Bank of America ATM and at Walmart on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston.
