4 Charged in Six-Month Drug Probe

ATF, Sheriff, Mount Pleasant officers arrest three, looking for fourth following six-month drug investigation.

Local and federal authorities have arrested three individuals and a fourth is on the loose after a six-month-long drug investigation in norhtern unincorporated Mount Pleasant.

The suspects have been charged with a variety of drug related charges mostly stemming from the sale and distribution of cocaine, according to a news release.

Here are the details of the charges:

Christopher D. Wilkes (B/M 01-09-1990) of 964 Gadsdenville Road Awendaw, was arrested on October 9, 2012 and charged with two counts of Distribution of Marijuana, Distribution of Cocaine and Distribution of Cocaine Base. A Bond Hearing was held on October 10, 2012 resulting in a $300,000 surety bond.

Ivan Fillmore Green (B/M 03-10-1987) of 1028 Beehive Road Awendaw, was arrested and charged with Distribution of Cocaine Base (Crack). A bond hearing is scheduled for October 12, 2012.

James Curtis Manigault (B/M 07-07-1987) of 3888 Abe White Road Awendaw, was arrested and charged with Distribution of a Cocaine Imitation Substance, Distribution of Marijuana, and three counts of Distribution of Cocaine Base (Crack). A bond hearing is scheduled for October 12, 2012.

Detectives are looking for Terry Clarida (B/M 6-01, / 170 pounds 02-03-1986) 3989 US Hwy 17 Awendaw. Clarida is wanted on active warrants by Charleston County and Mount Pleasant for Distribution of Cocaine Base and Distribution of Heroin. He is currently on probation for drug charges.

Clarida is known to frequent the “Ten Mile" area of Mount Pleasant, as well as  Theodore Road and “the Shack” on U.S. 17 North.

The Charleston County Sheriff, Mount Pleasant police and agents from the federal Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms Explosives agency announced the arrests Thursday evening. Anyone with information about the wanted individual, should contact the Sheriff’s Office at 843-202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.

Awendaw is not Northern My. Pleasant...I think the Awendaw folks would take exception

Would it be better to say unincorporated northern Mount Pleasant? I don't think the addresses of the alleged crimes -- “Ten Mile" area of Mount Pleasant, as well as Theodore Road and “the Shack” on U.S. 17 North -- are technically inside Awendaw's city limits either. Correct me if I'm wrong. You know I'm still learning, Cheryll.
