Missing 2-Year-Old Safe, Father In Custody

After an 18-hour search, law enforcement officials from the State Law Enforcement Division located Brandon Dubose and his son, Brandon Lee Dubose, II, hiding out at a farm inside the cab of an 18-wheeler.

OUTSIDE COLUMBIA, SC -- After an 18-hour search for a missing boy and his father, the two have been located.

WIS-TV reports that Brandon Dubose and his son, Brandon Lee Dubose, II, were located at a farm inside the cab of an 18-wheeler Tuesday morning by members of the State Law Enforcement Division.

Monday night, deputies have surrounded the 32-year-old father along Sammy Swamp Road and Highway 261 near the Sumter County line, but he was able to escape. At the time, authorities thought the child was no longer with the father and began searching the area for the child.
