A shout out to Father's on Father's Day!

Father's Day Reflection, leaving a legacy

As we all know, because it is in every ad everywhere, Sunday is Father's Day. And, if you didn't know or forgot.........SUNDAY IS FATHER'S DAY! As I reflect on my dad, I hope you also will reflect on your father.

My father passed away at an early age, but he was a wonderful father and husband. He was a hard working family man who was very involved with his wife and kids. I only hope that I am half of the parent that he was.

With that being said, dads sometimes get a bad wrap. I see so many wonderful fathers around town, out to eat, at the park, jogging with the stroller, or taking their daughter to Justin Bieber, just to name a few. I know that our house would not run like it does at all if Mr. Macaroni weren't doing all of what he does around the house and with the family. So good work dads, if you are the ones who are helping, giving, and loving. And, if you aren't a dad who is helping, giving, and loving, then step up your game. This is what this life is all about, right? Leaving a legacy? That is what we are all doing. This life isn't just about us or our happiness, but about the generations to come, and what we do today to impact those next generations.
