Mark Sanford's Political Comeback
Once-disgraced former Gov. Mark Sanford made an epic political comeback this week when he trounced Democrat Elizabeth Colbert in a 55-to-45 electoral victory. Sanford is reclaiming South Carolina's First District Congressional seat he held in the 1990s.

Sanford's Settle Family Court Dispute
Congressman-elect Mark Sanford got a post-election gift when he settled an ongoing Family Court dispute with his ex-wife Jenny Sanford. The newly minted Congressman faced a contempt of court charge for allegedly trespassing at his ex-wife's beachfront Sullivan's Island home. Mark Sanford agreed to pay for Jenny Sanford's attorney's fees and promised not to trespass again.

Jail Sentences for Caribbean Homicide
A St. Maarten judge has sentenced three men to jail for the deah of Michael and Thelma King, a Mount Pleasant couple killed on the island this fall. Read more.

Man Arrested, Charged in Child's Death
A Mount Pleasant man has been charged with the death of a 2-year-old after police say that youngster was brought to a local hospital unresponsive in March.

Man Arrested for Pharmacy Robbery
A North Charleston man has been charged with robbing a Mount Pleasant pharmacy to obtain prescription pain killers. The man's girlfriend, recently arrested on drug charges, told police that she believed her boyfriend was involved in the robbery. Read more.
