The USS Yorktown gets all spooky this weekend as Patriots Point opens the ship for Halloween-themed ghost-ship tours.
The last time Blackbeard appeared in Charleston Harbor was May 1718, but aboard the Yorktown this weekend, he is in search of his head. The Curse of Blackbeard’s Skull comes to life each night thru October 31 as the infamous Blackbeard and his pirate crew stalk the Yorktown to scare guests.
The ghost ship tours last just four evenings. The tours begin at 7 p.m. and wrap at 11 p.m., according to a news release. Tickets may be purchased at www.PatriotsPoint.org, and ticket quantities are limited. Tickets sell for $15 per person.
