I have been with a major retailer for 38 years and am currently in the position of Assistant Store Manager of Operations (20 years) accountable for providing a great customer experience with a highly motivated Cashier team, expense control, warehouse maintenance, receiving, merchandise pickup, store office, and overall store maintenance. I am beginning the retirement process, however I do not want to stop working entirely. I would like to work closer to my home (Mt.Pleasant, SC resident) and in a full time position (30-40 hours). I particularly enjoy warehouse and stocking and am not afraid of hard work and working along with my team. I enjoy mentoring new associates and assisting with their training. As a crafter (decorative painting) Hobby Lobby sounds like a great fit and a great company to be associated with.

Elizabeth, You should probably go to the Hobby Lobby website to apply for the job. Patch is a news and community event website not affiliated with Hobby Lobby. Good luck!

Sounds just like Michaels! Again, building from the ground up instead of occupying one of the hundreds of empty storefronts in this town.

Robin, Hobby Lobby is nothing like Michael's. They average 20,000 sq ft per store while Hobby Lobby averages 55,000 sq ft. I'm sure if Hobby Lobby could have found an empty big box that size they would have taken it!
