Center for Birds of Prey Offers Discount Admission

South Carolina residents get buy one, get one free during January.

The Center for Birds of Prey is offering South Carolina residents a chance to save in January with a Buy 1, Get 1 Free ticket offer. Tickets must be purchased at the ticket office. The BOGO offer ends January 31.

Admission to the center is $12 for adults, $10 for youth (ages 6-18) and free for children younger than six. Admission includes a guided tour and flight demonstrations. Center hours are Thursday through Saturday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with tour times at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and flight demonstrations at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The Center for Birds of Prey was originally founded in 1991 to provide medical care to injured birds of prey. It has since expanded its programs to include educational programs for students and visitors, an Oil Spill Response Facility, captive breeding, research and conservation. The center is located on 152 acres in Awendaw (4872 Seewee Road)—20 miles from downtown Charleston and 40 miles from Georgetown.
