Big Crowds Turn Out for Outdoor Movie

Next showing set for August 23.

Hundreds turned out Friday for the second of three outdoor movies at Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park.

The town, in partnership with local theater Cinebarre, showed Disney's "Tangled" to a packed lawn of families.

The showing is the second of three outdoor movies planned this summer. The next is "Groundhog Day" set for Aug. 23, which begs the question if Sullivan's Island resident and the movie's star, Bill Murray, will make a live appearance.

Movies are always free and are shown on Cinebarre's four-story outdoor screen. The shows begin at sunset.
