Sock Hops Begin Sept. 13 at Mount Pleasant Town Hall Gym
Roughly 400 youngsters participate each month.

Mount Pleasant Recreation Department’s sock hops are the place to be if you are a 4th or 5th grade student East of the Cooper. About 400 kids from all area schools show up for this popular event each month.
The first sock hop is Friday, September 13. All sock hops are held at the Town Hall Gym, beginning at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $6 per sock hop. Advanced registration is required. Parents may register their children online at www.tompsc.com or at any of our recreation facilities.

Sock hops are casual fun. A DJ provides music for these events. Concessions are available. All sock hops are chaperoned by Mount Pleasant Recreation Department staff. Parents are welcome to stay if they want.
Mark your calendars. Sock hops this year are September 13, October 18, November 22, January 24, February 21, March 21, and April 25. You don’t want to miss them!
