Pet Helpers Hosting Halloween Pet Photo Contest

Pet Helpers will hold a pet costume contest at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre on Oct. 27.

Participants pay $10 and enter their pets into five categories. Winners and runners up from each category will win prizes, with one winner selected by a panel of judges to receive the grand prize.

Here are the categories:
• Best Super Hero
• Best Homemade / Most Original
• Best Duo (can be pet owner and pet)
• Most Fabulous / Cutest
• Best Monster / Scariest

All prizes are donated by Hairy Winston Pet Boutique and other participating shops at Towne Centre. Participants are encouraged to pre-register at Hairy Winston Pet Boutique.

All proceeds benefit Pet Helpers, the Lowcountry's animal adoption center and low-cost spay and neuter clinic that serves communities across the region.
