Local Dentist Collecting Candy for Troops

Dentist urges families to donate excess Halloween candy.

A Mount Pleasant dentist is asking families to donate their excess candy to American service men and women, according to WCBD-TV.

This Halloween, trick-or-treaters can bring their excess candy to Dr. Randy's office in Mount Pleasant and receive $1 a pound (up to five pounds), WCBD-TV said.

“Enjoy some candy, but no one needs several pounds of it lying around,” says Dr. Randy Pagenkopf, who practices on Long Point Road in Mt. Pleasant.
