Boone Hall's annual Wine Under the Oaks will pair great local food and wine for what's billed as one of the Lowcountry's premier holiday events.
Moved to the plantation's back lawn this year, the grown event will feature five-time Grammy Award winner Christopher Cross, who dominated the charts in the 1980s with hits such as "Sailing" and "Ride Like the Wind."
Advance tickest are $35. Tickets purchased the day of are $40. The price includes wine samples and food selections. A portion of the proceeds benefit charity.
No one under 21 is allowed entry.

More About Boone Hall Plantation
Recognized as America's most photographed plantation, Boone Hall is still an active plantation producing strawberries, pumpkins and tomatoes. It is currently owned and operated by members of the McRae family, who are committed to providing a 1800s plantation atmosphere for visitors. Admission includes the "Exploring Gullah Culture" performance, butterfly pavilion and plantation house tour.
