Towne Centre is Bridge Run Shuttle Site

Shopping center also adds sidewalk sales for Cooper River Bridge Run.

Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is a park and shuttle location for the Cooper River Bridge Run participants.

On April 6, beginning at 5 a.m., Cooper River Bridge Run participants can park in select lots to ride a shuttle from Mount Pleasant Towne Centre to the race corrals on Coleman Blvd.

The shuttles will pick up from the sidewalk in front of Gap until just before 6 a.m. The shuttles will bring race participants back to the shopping center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., dropping off in front of Belk.

Select stores will offer specials for race participants wearing their Race bib, and numerous retailers are offering sidewalk sales during the weekend.

The spring Clearance Sidewalk Sale is set for April 5 through April 7. Several stores will participate in the seasonal sale making room for summer merchandise: Caché, Claire’s, Francesca’s Collections, Hairy Winston Pet Boutique, Gymboree, Palmetto Moon and many more retailers will have items marked down for this weekend after Easter sale.

Here's a listing of all the Bridge run shuttles. All the routes are free, but runners must wear their bibs to board the buses. The shuttles begin at 5 a.m., but runners must board the shuttles by 6 a.m. Shuttles end at 6:45 a.m.

Downtown: Calhoun & Anson St

Return buses will leave from downtown Charleston from 10 a.m to 1 p.m., to return participants to their parking areas. Buses will be marked according to the four different parking areas.
