Town Council Meets Monday
Council committee meetings are set for 8:45 a.m. Monday.
Mount Pleasant Town Council Committee meetings are set for Monday. The meetings begin at 8:45 a.m. and run back-to-back until 1:15 p.m. There is a special called council meeting set for 12:15 p.m. to vote on bonuses for town employees as well as a closed-door discusssion of an unspecified personnel matter.

Was the vote on school rezoning postponed?

Yes. But that was not a town council decision. The Moultrie Constituent District 2 Board of Trustees was handling that decision, but deferred any action until next year. The town council does not have any authority over schools.
