Police Search for Silver Bandits

Burglars target silverware and other sterling items in recent thefts.

Mount Pleasant Police are currently investigating two residential burglaries that occurred near Rifle Range and Venning roads earlier this week.

The alleged crooks targeted the family's silver flatware and other sterling silver pieces, according to police spokesman Maj. Stan Gragg.

The suspects forced entry into the homes on Feb. 21 and Feb. 24 through garage doors and then entered the homes.
