The suspect fled before he ever used the tool on the alleged victim. Police tracked down the suspect, Ernest Kinloch. He faces third degree assault and battery charges, according to the report.

The second incident started as a fist fight. The two men broke apart and went their separate ways.

But then one man came back with a shovel. He allegedly swung the tool at the victim, but missed. The victim was able to take the shovel from the suspect and he struck the man several times in the head with the garden tool, according to a police report.

The suspect retaliated by busting out the windows in the victim's truck. Both men declined to press charges, and said they simply wanted the incident documented.
