Police: Argument Leads to Stabbing

One man injured in afternoon stabbing at Hwy. 41 and Hwy. 17.

Mount Pleasant Police responded this afternoon to an apparent stabbing that injured one man. Here's the police statement on the incident:

This afternoon at approximately 2:45 p.m. the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to a Stabbing that occurred in the area of Hwy 41 and US 17.  Through investigation it was learned that an argument had occurred between Jack Ryan Keller and William Wade Andrews which led to a physical altercation while both partie’s vehicles were stopped in traffic on Hwy 41.  Keller was assaulted and subsequently stabbed Wilson in the upper arm.  Wilson sought treatment for none life threatening injuries at a local hospital.  Neither party wished to prosecute in this incident.
