Kitten Rescued on Ravenel Bridge up for Adoption

Foster family offering 'Nell' for adoption following rescue.

A family that fostered a kitten rescued from the Ravenel Bridge is now offering the animal for adoption. Here's what the kitten's foster parent had to say about the special kitty on Facebook:

Not sure if any of you remember Nell - she was found on the second span of the Ravenel Bridge (hence the name Nell) with a fractured leg. We've fostered her for the past 8 weeks. Her little leg is all healed and she's ready for her permanent home. We've been so fortunate to have her in our care. She is the sweetest kitty and so mature for her age. We have another very young litter and she's been so helpful, going around grooming them like a mother kitty and covering their uncovered "piles" in the litter box. She goes in for her surgery on Tuesday, June 11, and we'll be available for adoption on Wednesday. I would love nothing more than for her to be immediately adopted and never have to see the inside of one of the cages on the adoption floor. She has such a special story and will bring someone lots of love.
