SATURDAY

Southeastern Beard and Moustache Championship
Head the Music Farm in downtown Charleston at 7 p.m. Saturday for the annual Beard and Moustache Championship. Admission fee: $10 for spectators; $20 for participants. Read more.

Rare Bird Walks
Want to take in a little nature? Head to the Center for Birds of Prey in Awendaw for an upclose view of the painted bunting. Read more.

Charleston Battery Family Night
Head to Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island Saturday for Family Night.  Families can purchase Battery Family Packs for only $30; which includes four East Bleacher tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas ($68 value). Read more.

Active Duty Fish Fry
The VFW Post 3137 on Isle of Palms will host a fish fry for active duty members of the military from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Read more.

Windjammer Bikini Contest
The 2013 Budweiser Bikini Bash starts Sunday, May 26 and runs every Sunday through August at The Windjammer on Isle of Palms. Weekly winners take home $500. Finalists can earn $2,000. The event starts in the afternoon. See the bar's website for specifics.

MONDAY

Memorial Day Concert
A Monday concert is planned at St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Charleston. The concert starts at noon and features Charleston Men’s Chorus, which will present a somber and celebratory tribute to our veterans and current armed forces members at its annual Memorial Day Concert. Read more.
