Hobby Lobby Plans Mount Pleasant Store

Craft store plans location off Hwy. 17 just north of Towne Centre.

Craft goods retailer Hobby Lobby has plans to build a store off Hwy. 17 in Mount Pleasant, according to the company's website and town records.

Hobby Lobby already lists a Mount Pleasant location at 2165 Tea Planter Lane in Mount Pleasant. That's the shopping center anchored by Harris Teeter just north of Isle of Palms Connector.

The town's planning office reflects an approved building permit for the store. Hobby Lobby indicates it will build on an empty parcel of land in the retail center.
