Long-time Town Councilman Paul Gawrych announced over the weekend that he will not seek re-election, according to a Post and Courier story.
On the council for 12 years, Gawrych said he wants to spend more time with his family.
"My wife Zoe and I think it is important to spend a little extra time with our children and our extended family," he told the Post and Courier.
