The second Mount Pleasant International Beer Fest brought out throngs of beer lovers on Saturday at Park West Recreation Complex. The event offered 80 unlimited beer samples from 34 breweries.
Several hundred folks handed over $50 for unlimited samples of beer in 5 oz. mugs. The event is sponsored by the Town of Mount Pleasant, and is meant to cater to Mount Pleasant's growing under-50 population who reside north of the Isle of Palms Connector. The event started at 2 p.m. and wrapped around 7 p.m.
